Design Analysis of active aero wing mechanisms
In collaboration with a motorsport design consultancy the design analysis of the active aero front and rear wing mechanisms for a ground breaking hybrid hyper car was carried out. This multi-disciplinary project included the analysis of high performance composite materials, buckling analysis, tribological analysis, and vibration isolation. This allowed the construction of a workable prototype to prove the theoretical expectations of the vehicle under active control of the wings and air breaking.
